Lately God has really been laying things on my heart. I'm so fortunate to live the life that I live and be able to freely worship Jesus and I've honestly taken advantage of it so much. They're are people all over the world that are killed because they speak up and share the word of Jesus while I sit here and say nothing because I do not have the courage to speak the way those people do. This is something I really have to work on and I hope through this blog I will be able to spread a little bit more of the word. Anyway, here are some things that have been laid on my heart and I will be praying for this month.
- End it: Shine a Light on Slavery
There are over 27 million people that are trapped into slavery in the world today. This is something that everyone should be on board to stop. I challenge you to build a team or donate and join The End It Movement. More info.
- Forgiveness
Not only forgiveness of my sins, but for me to grant people forgiveness that I have been withholding. Living with grudges creates walls and makes us live where we are constantly trying to protect ourselves. This is like telling God that we don't trust him enough to lay our problems down in front of him and let him handle it. This is one thing I really have to work on.
- Being okay with being single
I constantly see on social media where people are in these perfect relationships and it makes me so jealous. I am praying for God to put me at peace with not being in a relationship and to make me a better Christian for my future spouse.
- My Future
With three months until I graduate high school, I constantly worry about my future. I am praying that God will wash peace over me and help me with all of the big decisions to come.
